After your set

Mostly, it is what you leave alone.

A short list, for the first day and for every day after.

Keep your lashes dry for the first 24 hours, brush them each morning with a clean spoolie, and keep oil-based products away from your eyes.

The first 24 hours

  1. 01

    Step 1: Keep them dry

No steam, no water on your face and no swimming while the adhesive finishes setting.

  2. 02

    Step 2: Leave them be

Do not rub, pick or curl them. If something itches, tell me at your next visit.

  3. 03

Step 3: Sleep on your back

Back or side, if you can, so the extensions are not pressed into the pillow.

Every day after

  • Brush each morning

Use a clean spoolie, working from the middle of the lashes out to the tips.

  • Keep oil away

Oil-based makeup removers, cleansers and creams can loosen the adhesive.

  • Never pull

Pulling an extension off pulls the natural lash out with it, so please do not.

  • Return on time

A fill every two to three weeks keeps the set even and the visit short.

Questions about aftercare

Can I wear mascara or get them wet?

Please skip mascara, which clogs extensions and is hard to remove. After the first 24 hours water is fine; pat them dry and brush.

What if one falls out?

Extensions shed along with your own lashes, so a few will go between fills. If many come out at once, or your eyes feel irritated, tell me.

Does something feel wrong?

If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, call me and your doctor, or go to urgent care.
