Before your first set

Begin with a first look and a patch test.

A short visit that tells us both where to start.

It takes about 30 minutes. We look at your natural lashes together and talk about the look you want, and I test the adhesive on a small spot. You watch that spot at home for a day.

A patch test helps, but it cannot predict every reaction, so tell me about allergies and sensitive eyes as well.

On the day of your visit

  • Clean lashes

No eye makeup, no lash curler and no oil-based products on or near your eyes that day.

  • Lenses out

Take contact lenses out before you lie down, or bring your glasses to wear home.

  • A few minutes early

Arriving five minutes ahead means we start on time and you are settled before the lamp goes on.

Who should wait

Tell me before your visit if any of these apply, and we will find another time.

  • An eye problem

An eye infection or irritation, or a recent eye or eyelid procedure. Check with your doctor first if you are unsure.

  • A past reaction

A reaction to lash adhesive, tape or eye products, from me or from anyone else.

  • A set from elsewhere

Another artist's extensions come off before a new set, so allow time for removal.

If you notice a reaction

Reactions can happen. If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, call me and your doctor, or go to urgent care. I stop a service the moment anything feels wrong.
