Policies, written out in full
Take your time with these before you book. If any of it does not suit you, ask me; I am glad to go over it by phone.
Booking and deposits
A deposit holds your time and goes toward your service. Every set and fill takes one, and the menu marks each with a Deposit to book chip. The first look, the patch test and removal take none. You book on the booking page, and I confirm by text or email.
Canceling and running late
Please give me 24 hours' notice to cancel or move a visit, and your deposit moves with you. With less notice I keep it. If you are running late, call or text and I will hold your time for 15 minutes at a fill and 30 at a full set. After that the visit is made shorter, not longer.
If you miss an appointment
If you miss a visit without a word, I keep the deposit, and I hold your next visit only with prepayment. If something comes up on the way, a text is all it takes.
Children and companions
Visits are for clients 18 and over. The room is small and the work needs you lying still with your eyes closed, so please come on your own. A friend or a driver is welcome to wait in the front room.
Patch tests and allergies
Every new client has a patch test before a first set. It shows how your skin responds to the adhesive, and it helps, but it cannot predict every reaction. Please tell me about allergies, sensitive eyes and any reaction to tape or eye products. If you notice burning, swelling, redness or blurred vision, call me and your doctor, or go to urgent care.
Redos and refunds
If something is not right, tell me within a week and I will look at your lashes and say what I can do. Services are not refunded, but a concern always gets a conversation first.
Tipping
Tips are welcome and never expected. You can add one when you pay at the end of your visit.
Before your visit
Come with clean lashes: no eye makeup, no lash curler and no oil-based products on or near your eyes that day. Take out contact lenses before you lie down, or bring your glasses. Please arrive five minutes early so we start on time.
When to ask your doctor first
Please check with your doctor first if you have an eye infection or irritation, or have had an eye or eyelid procedure recently. If you are unsure, ask before you book. I may also suggest you see your doctor if I notice something at your first look.
Two more things to know
The fill window
A fill is every two to three weeks. Wait longer and too few extensions may remain to fill, and a new set is the better choice.
Another artist's work
Another artist's extensions come off before a new set, and I do not fill them. When you book, I tell you the time that needs.
Read it through, then pick a time.
If something here does not work for you, ask before you book.
